Course Description:

You will learn how to Upholster more complicated boat seats and Cushions. Learn how to service your Industrial sewing machine, move on to patterning, designing seating areas from scratch, curved cushions and shaped cushions.

​ Learn all the skills needed to be able to go away and be confident to upholster any boat seats/rib seats and cushions at your pace.

​

We will cover quoting and pricing too.

This course is specifically designed to provide individuals with prior experience in basic upholstery with more advanced knowledge and practical skills necessary to move on to more complicated seats and cushions. 

Throughout this course, you will focus on the essential techniques making sure you develop the knowledge and gain the confidence needed to take on any boat upholstery projects.

Accommodation is not provided, but there are many B&Bs in the area of the workshop. You can find options on Booking.com and Airbnb. Travelodges and Premier Inns are also available within a 20-minute drive.

Course materials, tea, and coffee are included. You'll need to bring your own lunch, but there are nearby places to buy food.
